Research indicates that young people in Homa Bay Town are affected by HIV and AIDS at rates higher than the national average, largely due to limited access to relevant information. While many studies have focused on broad-based interventions, few have examined the potential of social media, particularly Facebook, as a platform for co-creating and disseminating HIV-related information to address this challenge. This study investigates how LVCT Health utilizes its Facebook page to co-create and share HIV-related information with young people in Homa Bay. A qualitative case study approach was employed, involving purposive sampling of twenty-four young people, four digital opinion leaders, and four LVCT Health communication staff members. Data were collected through focus group discussions and in-depth interviews and were analyzed thematically and presented in narrative form.
