Harvesting the Web to Procure Secure Information for Enterprise

Data Mining
Web Harvesting
Information Security
The potential that web resources have is yet unharnessed. The colossal information resources of the Web are largely untapped by the Enterprises. Enterprises has not yet seriously considered use of web content as a potential input to the data warehouse, even when the web has been proven to be the universal delivery mechanism for global data.
Many researchers have agreed that the paradigm of the Web is radically different than that of the data warehouse. One might also say that web content is highly volatile and diverse and hence harvesting the web to procure the desired information of real business value for an enterprise is like challenging its imagination.
As a chaotic and unmanageable influence, the Web can be perceived as a threat to the security and tranquility of the warehouse environment. A stable infrastructure is required. The issue of Integrity and reliability of web content is critical to the requirement of refining information through the processes of discovery, Validation, Acquisition, Design and Formatting, Dissemination, and Information Security. This paper proposes a process model along with architecture to support this methodology within a data centre.

Design of a Multidimensional Model Using Object Oriented Features in UML
Pahwa, Payal

Data warehouse
Multidimensional modelling
Object Oriented Paradigm
Unified Modelling Language
A data warehouse is a single repository of data which includes data generated from various operational systems. Conceptual modeling is an important concept in the successful design of a data warehouse. The Unified Modeling Language (UML) has become a standard for object modeling during analysis and design steps of software system development. The paper proposes an object oriented approach to model the process of data warehouse design. The hierarchies of each data element can be explicitly defined, thus highlighting the data granularity. We propose a UML multidimensional model using various data sources based on UML schemas. We present a conceptual-level integration framework on diverse UML data sources on which OLAP operations can be performed. Our integration framework takes into account the benefits of UML (its concepts, relationships and extended features) which is more close to the real world and can model even the complex problems easily and accurately. Two steps are involved in our integration framework. The first one is to convert UML schemas into UML class diagrams. The second is to build a multidimensional model from the UML class diagrams. The white-paper focuses on the transformations used in the second step. We describe how to represent a multidimensional model using a UML star or snowflake diagram with the help of a case study. To the best of our knowledge, we are the first people to represent a UML snowflake diagram that integrates heterogeneous UML data sources.

The Malaysian Parliament comprises the King (Yang Di-Pertuan Agung), the Senate (Dewan Negara) and the House of Representatives (Dewan Rakyat). The Parliament is the highest legislative authority that formulates laws applicable to the nation as a whole. It is responsible for drafting bills, passing federal laws, making amendments to the constitution, examining the government’s policies and, approving federal government expenditure and new taxes. Participation in parliamentary debates is exclusively meant for Members of Parliament (MPs) who have competed and won in the general elections at their respective parliamentary constituencies. The Parliament serves as a forum to debate and discuss issues pertaining to national interests.

Orphans
Orphanages are a vulnerable group in any socio-economic setting simply because they are deprived of one or both of their primary care givers. The level of vulnerability they face however increases significantly with the level of poverty. In India below 18’s population is 42,06,78,000 among them 2,57,00,000 are orphan children. That constitute a major part of the below 18’s population (UNICEF, 2005). Orphans are a group of underprivileged population in society. The evidence from the pediatric and child psychiatry literature makes clear that orphanages are neither an effective nor a humane mode of assistance to infants and families. Orphans are some of the most underprivileged children in the world. With few exceptions, children without parents are deprived of many of the basic rights such as food, shelter, education, and a family environment. Orphanage children are deprived of their primary care givers thus more prone to physical health problems.

No global 3D model of the environment needs to be assembled, a process which can be extremely cumbersome and error prone for large scale scenes e.g. the global registration of multiple local models can accumulate a great amount of error, while it also presumes a very accurate extraction of the underlying geometry. On the contrary, neither any such accurate geometric reconstruction of the individual local 3D models nor a very precise registration between them is required by our framework in order that it can produce satisfactory results. This paper presents an application of LP based MRF optimization techniques and also we have turned our attention to a different re search topic: the proposal of novel image based modeling and rendering methods, which are capable of automatically reproducing faithful (i.e. photorealistic) digital copies of complex 3D virtual environments, while also allowing the virtual exploration of these environments at interactive frame rates.

Information security has been more prominently considered under product approach in which this is considered as a framework of products providing different functionalities or features of information security like information availability, authenticity, non-repudiation, etc. But there is another important view point of information security. This is the Process View of information security in which the information security is considered as a process rather than a product. The process approach provides the benefits of repetitiveness, simplicity, and also statistically measureable and controllable. One can statistically manage the process for its maturity and capability. This white paper talks about understanding the information security as a process and then understanding the concepts of process maturity and capability for Information Security in organizations.

After 50 years of independence recently there has been much discussion on national unity and integration in multilingual and multiracial Malaysia. Unfortunately, although we have just celebrated our 53rd year of independence, the young especially are still separated by race and religion. The existence of Chinese and Indian medium schools alongside national schools at the primary level creates a situation in which students attending these separate type of schools would have little chances of interacting with each other. For example, Chinese students who largely attend Chinese medium schools (SJKC) would not have much chance to mingle with Malay and Indian students until they reached secondary school.

Information Security
ISMS
Information security has been a global issue and challenge from many years. Protection of vital information of the organization has always been a huge challenge for all as millions of intruders put continuous efforts to get access to this information. The information whether stored in physical form on papers or in electronic form in computers, is the most critical element of any successful business and its high values make it the focused target of intruders. Organizational data face threats from external as well as internal factors of the organizations and there is no surprise that organizations implement security measures for their data assets in their premises and networks. Companies spend huge efforts, time, and money on the security of their crucial data and make best possible efforts to keep their data confidential and private yet face losses at many places due to limitations of their security systems. This white paper highlights some most common practical shortcomings in the security systems of the companies.

The growth of computers and of information technology has been explosive. As a result, information technology has been widely applied in every aspect of our life—from business, government, education, finance, health-care, aerospace to national defence. Computers, especially networked computers, have brought benefits to us and improved our lives. However, surveys and reports from various industry associations and security organizations suggested that only a few organizations can successfully protect their information assets. Organizations realize that information security is a complex issue, involving both human and technical factors. This paper is an attempt to empirically assess the maturity of Information Security Management System (ISMS) implementation in selected IT Service organizations in terms of confidence of their employees on their Information Security Management System.

Green Space
Site-Selection
Public land-uses in many cities are not able to present desirable services to citizens because of some problems such as high population density, lack of regularity in establishment and site-selection, and lack of attention to accessibility radius and population thresholds. This problem is magnified in big cities especially for land-uses such as green spaces. In urban supplying services only increasing of services is not a reason for proper supplying services but more important is optimized distribution of these centers. In this regard, present paper based on descriptive-analytical method as well as GIS follows optimized distribution of green space in the cities according to site-selection principals of urban green space. Case study is region 7 of Ahvaz municipality which has a population of 150215 persons and 2.78 green space capita, and this amount in addition to significant difference to standards determined by environment united nations (20-25 for a person), has been not distributed optimally. Regarding this city locating warm and dry zone of the earth, it is very important to select an optimized site for green spaces .Hence, in order to select a proper and optimized site for the green spaces according to site-selection principals layers (criteria) such as vicinity to residential centers, educational centers, cultural centers, urban infrastructures and establishments, commercial centers, hygienic centers, industrial centers and wastelands and etc. have been used. Research results in fuzzy logic valued region lands based on their importance in recognizing optimized location. Afterward, these lands were compared with land-use map and it was distinguished that lands with very good, good, and medium degree were placed close to residential, cultural, and educational centers which had more governmental ownership, and lands with weak and very weak degree were placed far from compatible land-uses, and were more placed close to industrial, administrative, hygienic sportive, and commercial centers which often had private ownership, therefore, they were not suggested for creating green space.

Religious Preference and Spanking Beliefs: Implications for School Corporal Punishment Policies
Menard, Lauren A.
CORPORAL PUNISHMENT
RELIGIOUS PREFERENCE
AMERICAN spanking beliefs were investigated by religious preference. Proportions agreeing with spanking were largest for Protestant (81%), followed by Catholic (69%). The association between Protestant and agreement with spanking (b=.718) was surprisingly strong considering associations with Catholic, Jewish, None, and Other were all inverse. The smaller Jewish proportion agreeing with spanking (51%) and the very strong inverse relationship between Jewish and agreement with spanking (b= -1.072) were unexpected. A separate analysis found large Christian (81%) and small Moslem (51%) proportions agreeing with spanking. Corporal punishment policies reflect American collective conscience on spanking. Deeper understandings of relationships between religious preference and spanking beliefs help stakeholders become aware of cultural undercurrents affecting school environments.

An Adaptive Image Steganography Technique Using LSB and MSB
Ajanthaa, Lakkshmanan

STEGANOGRAPHY
IN modern years Steganography is playing a significant role in secure communication. It is a technique of embedding secret information into cover media (image, video, audio and text) such that only the sender and the authoritative receiver can detect the occurrence of hidden information. The two essential properties of Steganography are good visual imperceptibility of the payload which is crucial for security of hidden communication and payload is essential for conveying huge quantity of secret information. Steganography has to satisfy two requirements, one is capability and the other is transparency. Capability means embedding large payload into media. Transparency means an ability to prevent distinction between stego and cover image by statistical analysis. Earlier they have used least significant bit (LSB), the simplest form of Steganography. In LSB method, data is inserted in the least significant bit which leads to a negligible change on the cover image that is not visible to the naked eye. Since this method can be easily cracked, it is more exposed to attacks. In the proposed system we propose Spatial Domain Steganography using 1-Bit Most Significant Bit (MSB) with confused manner.

Life Style
Survey
Lifestyle is considered to be an important determinant of health and sickness. It has also a great role in growth and development of children. Some of the health problems are rooted in childhood habits and lifestyle. A number of factors contribute to becoming overweight. Genetics, lifestyle habits, or a combination of both may be involved. Genes help to determine body type and how body stores and burns fat. Studies have shown that a child's risk of obesity greatly increases if one or more parent is overweight or obese. Daily schedules are so jam-packed that there's little time to prepare healthier meals or to squeeze in some exercise. Children’ s dietary habits have been shifted away from healthy foods to much greater reliance on fast food, processed snack foods and sugary drinks. Now more than ever life is sedentary; children spend more time playing with electronic devices, from computers to handheld video game systems, than actively playing outside. Television is a major culprit. Children who watch more than 4 hours a day are more likely to be overweight compared with children who watch 2 hours or less.

Consequences of accelerated Global Warming on nature and economy and the remedies for Global Green Economy
Gera, Navneet
GLOBAL WARMING
KYOTO PROTOCOL
CARBON CREDITS
CO2 EMISSION
Abstract: Global warming is the problem of 21st century for the globe. The root cause of problem is heavy oil consumption, deforestation, CO2 emission due to human and industrial activities and the rising threats of globalization like terrorism etc. This paper will address the impact of global warming on the Industries, human resource and the flora and fauna. The human resource has made a significant change in the current environment with the collective use of industries and the other GHG (Green House Gases) causing disturbance in the environment. In addition, the human resource is thinking on this issue, as it has become a global issue. There have been initiatives taken on Global Scale when Kyoto protocol agreement was signed which is in continuation till 2012. There have been further initiatives when the Ministers from across the global met at Copenhagen but at the end of the end there have been no discrete plans for Global Warming. Though it is a problem but how certainly can we manage this is more important. Global warming solutions can reduce the amount of heat-trapping gases that we emit into the atmosphere. Among the solutions, is a model G2I3 addressed in this paper and the role of every Individual which can make a great impact on the environmental problems.

The Negation Phrase in Búlu

NEGATION PHRASE
FORCE PHRASE
BÚLU
Following the split CP analysis (Rizzi 1997), it is admitted that the highest position of the clause structure is the Force Phrase. This paper describes and analyses the structure of the negation phrase in Búlu and shows that the behaviour of some negation markers go against this proposal. Therefore, it is shown that the data attested in Búlu, enriches the cartography of the Force-Finiteness system by displaying a negation phrase above Force Phrase.

Women play an important role in making their families healthy and happy. But women are the ones in Indian houses who eat last and least in the whole family. Because women live longer and experience more functional limitations than men, the ï¬nancing and provision of their health care is a particularly important issue for them. With fewer women than men having a spouse they can rely on as a primary caregiver, older women are more dependent upon other informal caregivers and a greater reliance on formal care services.

The Healthcare sector is growing leaps and bound, so is its data and information. Security and privacy of this Information has become a crucial issue for this proliferating healthcare industry. In this fast moving global scenario, patients need not carry their medical records in a big bag on move, as in this digital world ,all that patients have to do is to get admitted in a hospital for the treatment , rest all is in hands of Information Assets Infrastructure of these mushrooming hospitals. But due to the increased use of patient’s information sharing among doctors, vis hospitals ;patients and their families raise an issue for security of their medical data and records. Hence improving the Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) has become the necessity to keep secure digital patient records for success of hospitals and their brands or at large name and fame of Healthcare Industry. Patients are required to share information with doctors for correct diagnosis and treatment. Security concerns arise, in transmitting and processing electronic medical records, personal healthcare records, patients’ billing records as well as public health alerts across many parties with varying security, privacy and trust levels. Not all hospitals adopt all the essential security measures. In the present paper, we are studying eight International Hospitals to review their Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) standards , concluding their stands on the basis of proposed five principles and also proposing the future scope of implementation of IS in the hospital. We contemplate an Information Security model based on the proposed five principles of Information Security.

SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE
ABSTRACT - Sustainable architecture aims to design buildings and infra-structures, such as squares and bazaars, adapted to the social, economic, cultural and environmental contexts of certain place. The practice of sustainable architecture contributes to sustainable development, therefore for the development of future generations. The concept must integrate not only bioclimatic strategies, but also economic, social and cultural facets. Sustainable architecture research is either carried while the designing process takes place (the present) but is also focused on the built environment through the historical time of a place (the past). The aim of this article is to bring to the academic discussion new perspectives on sustainable architecture and debate the relationship between the architectural elements and the social and cultural aspects by taking the Tabriz Historic Bazaar Complex as case study. Infra-structures like Bazaars are geographically placed all over the world, from Turkey to Egypt, from Tajikistan to Iran. In Iranian cities, the bazaar keeps playing an important role as economic and social engine. Thus, research the main elements that keep the Bazaar of Tabriz so actively dynamic in the present will be discussed.

A nurse is recognized as authority on health, she can educate individuals, groups and communities about ill effects of smoking. The investigator had witnessed during her posting in Vidhya Sagar Institute of Mental Health Amritsar, Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS) Delhi that the adolescents are more influenced by smoking due to images of romance, success, sophisticated popularity and adventure which advertising suggests they could achieve through the consumption of cigarettes.

WATERMARK
Security for information has become a great concern in today’s internet era. Thus sending sensitive information from one end to another end via common communicating channel has become inevitable. Steganography has various useful applications and the technique employed depends on the requirements of the application to be designed for. For instance, applications may require absolute invisibility of the secret data, larger secret data to be hidden or high degree of robustness of the carrier. This paper aims at studying popular encryption techniques and their drawbacks due to which they could not be put to practical use along with a proposed method of successfully encrypting information both in image and text format combing their successful delivery to the destination using steganographic and cryptographic techniques of information encryption.

Environment Analysis
In this study El Nino effects on rainfall in Iran is evaluated. Annual rainfall data of the selected rain gauging stations for the years when El Nino phenomenon has taken place (1973-2012), have been picked up. Next, annual rainfall of the years with and without El Nino phenomenon were compared and then analyzed (correlation is significant at the 0.01 level). Finally, percentage-frequency of the rainfalls influenced by warm Enso condition was obtained. Regarding that El Nino has different affect on rainfall under different regions of the world, the results approved that El Nino, increases rainfall across Iran plateau as annual rainfall is increased from south to north. While less increasing of rainfall is seen for coastal area. Results showed that El Nino causes increasing of annual rainfall in Iran.

ASSIMILATION
ABSTRACT – This study was conducted using a mixed research method including quantitative and qualitative data collection to investigate the cultural and linguistic practices of the Punjabi Sikhs in Kuching, Sarawak in East Malaysia. It was aimed to determine whether the community had integrated with the majority community/communities in Kuching and to what extend it has preserved its ethnic identity. Data were collected on the Punjabis’ use of language in the domains of family, workplace, and entertainment. Other social factors like eating habits, dressing, celebration of festivals, marriage preference, religious practices and self-identity were also examined. It was identified that the minority community of the Punjabi Sikhs in Kuching, Sarawak has a tendency towards maintaining a strong cultural vitality and uniqueness. The community shows a high degree of assimilating towards the use of English language, although they appear to be maintaining their core Punjabi cultural traits and practices. Kuching Punjabis may have lost a vital segment of their cultural enrichment in the form of language but they crucially hold positive perceptions about their ethno-cultural and ethno-linguistic identity. Thus contradicting the traditional cultural studies, which incline that not maintaining the language, can lead to losing the other aspects of culture.

DESIGN OF AN EFFICIENT METHOD FOR MULTIRESOLUTION WATERMARKING ALGORITHM TO IMPROVE THE ROBUSTNESS

Now-a-days watermarking plays a pivotal role in most of the industries for providing security to their own as well as hired or leased data. This paper its main aim is to study the multiresolution watermarking algorithms and also choosing the effective and efficient one for improving the resistance in data compression. Computational savings from such a multiresolution watermarking framework is obvious. The multiresolutional property makes our watermarking scheme robust to image/video down sampling operation by a power of two in either space or time. There is no common framework for multiresolutional digital watermarking of both images and video. A multiresolution watermarking based on the wavelet transformation is selected in each frequency band of the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) domain and therefore it can resist the destruction of image processing.
The rapid development of Internet introduces a new set of challenging problems regarding security. One of the most significant problems is to prevent unauthorized copying of digital production from distribution. Digital watermarking has provided a powerful way to claim intellectual protection. We proposed an idea for enhancing the robustness of extracted watermarks. Watermark can be treated as a transmitted signal, while the destruction from attackers is regarded as a noisy distortion in channel. For the implementation, we have used minimum nine coordinate positions. The watermarking algorithms to be taken for this study are Corvi algorithm and Wang algorithm. In all graph, we have plotted X axis as peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) and y axis as Correlation with original watermark. The threshold value ? is set to 5. The result is smaller than the threshold value then it is feasible, otherwise it is not.

WEB USAGE MINING
With the growth of Internet, websites have become a dynamic tool in the market for every business to both acquire and service their customers. Online presence through websites has given them a global and wider reach. Good design and well management are the two key aspects of the effective website to catch the attention of visitors. Nowadays, the analysis and behavior of website visitors can be used to convert them into customers and serve them in a better way. This can be carried out on the weblogs which are generated as a result of user’s access to a website. This paper aims to study the log files of an astrological website. An astrological website has not gained much attention in the internet community as people prefer going to the astrologers in person to resolve their problems. The log files of an astrology website were taken, preprocessed and analyzed using Analyze Key Influencers technique a feature of Microsoft SQL Server Data Mining Add-ins for Microsoft Office 2007. The information obtained can be used to enhance the effectiveness of the website.

Vedic Mathematics
Fast Fourier transform has been used in wide range of applications such as digital signal processing and wireless communications. In this we present a implementation of reconfigurable FFT processor using single path delay feedback architecture. To eliminate the use of read only memory’s (ROM’S). These are used to store the twiddle factors. To achieve the ROM-less FFT processor the proposed architecture applies the bit parallel multipliers and reconfigurable complex multipliers, thus consuming less power. The proposed architecture, Reconfigurable FFT processor based on Vedic mathematics is designed, simulated and implemented using VIRTEX-5 FPGA. Urdhva Triyakbhyam algorithm is an ancient Vedic mathematic sutra, which is used to achieve the high performance. This reconfigurable DIF-FFT is having the high speed and small area as compared with other conventional DIF-FFT

Recession
Realty Sector
Government Policies
Business Models
The recession around the globe from 2005 till present has been considered as the toughest phase compared to Great Depression in 1930’s. This had led the collapse of almost all large financial institutions, banks and stock markets around the globe. This indirectly affected the housing market that resulted in dispossessions, proceedings and extended vacancies. In India the effect on Reality sector was decrease in demand for Real estate in terms of Demand and supply as most of the working population had to undergo reduction in salaries and few layoffs. The Reduction in Rentals of commercials, Projects became stagnate, Deceleration in infrastructure projects, troubles to get fund, Unemployment and Shortage of skill workers forced the builders to reduce their prices. This paper attempts to analyze the impact of global recession on the reality sector of India, makes an effort to analyze the present overall Realty sector situation, and examines what policies are taken by Indian Government and business models that can be adapted to overcome the effect of recession.

Cloud Service
Cloud computing is a model for enabling service user’s ubiquitous, convenient and on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources. Cloud computing is a promising technology to facilitate development of large-scale, on-demand, flexible computing infrastructures. But without security embedded into innovative technology that supports cloud computing, businesses are setting themselves up for a fall. The trend of frequently adopting this technology by the organizations automatically introduced new risk on top of existing risk. Obviously putting everything into a single box i.e. into the cloud will only make it easier for hacker. This paper presents an overview and the study of the cloud computing. Also include the several security and challenging issues, emerging application and the future trends of cloud computing.

Economic Sustainability
This study is aimed at analyzing economic and social sustainability of rural settlements in the hazard – prone zones. Accordingly, the present descriptive – analytical study with emphasizing on its practical aspect is trying to identify high risk zones to locate the villages surrounding the Sanandaj City using Geography Information System (GIS) and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). In this regard, for zoning of hazard – prone areas, information layers such as distance from the fault, gradient layer, height layer, distance from the river, landslide layer, and soil type layer were created utilizing the information existent in the database of GIS at Sanandaj Municipality. Finally, hazard – prone zones were identified by applying the technique in ARCGIS10 and its practical functions and algorithms. In the next step, the layers of villages surrounding Sanandaj City were adapted to the prioritized zones and so the villages (Salavat Abad, Dolat Abad, Gazar Dareh, Khalijan, Issa Dar, Hassan Abad) which are located in hazard – prone zoning, were identified. To assess the socio – economic conditions of these villages are used FTOPSIS technique. The studied samples were two Councils members in each village which were selected randomly to survey and to achieve the goal of research. The results showed that economical aspect of the indicator (rural road networks), with ID = E5, and social aspect of the indicator (health facilities), with ID = E8 gained the lowest weights in the minimum, average and maximum fuzzy criterion, and also the indictor of rural power network and its backup services, with ID = E1, and taking care of villages with cultural and historical monuments gained the highest weights in the minimum, average and maximum fuzzy criterion.

Exploring Sensibility in Modern Indian English Drama
Parab, Vitthal V.
Substantial Progress
Onslaughts
Globalization
Indian Sensibility Modern Age
The Indian English Drama has developed as an important and versatile body of English Literature and has caught attention of the global audiences. It has made a substantial progress by encapsulating various issues that India has been facing from time to time. It finds its impetus from Indian sensibility, philosophy, myths and religious beliefs and attracted attention of the people beyond boundaries. When one goes through the history of Indian English Drama, one comes to know that it has made a little progress than Indian English Fiction and Poetry. Though Indian English Drama came to the scene before these above-mentioned genres but failed to keep pace with them because of some reasons. Unlike Fiction and Poetry, Drama cannot be restricted to reading only. It needs a theatre, an encouraging audience, effective dialogues, efficient actors and other stagecraft. Indian English Drama passes many phases and at last comes to a whole new range of playwrights who have left no stone unturned to give it its due place. The present paper studies Indian English Drama with all its flaws and highlights the contribution of Modern Indian English Playwrights.

Parental Education
Schools as learning institutions cannot be the independent entities for preparing students to create a peaceful and humane society. Schools are social institutions and are surrounded by other agencies of social importance such as hospitals, community organizations etc. The prime responsibility of schools is to ensure the acquisition of knowledge for all students. In addition, the students have to gain age appropriate social and personal skills. Academic intelligence may not be of great value if the students lack these skills which are necessary to lead a happy life, also, contribute to happy and healthy families which in turn form happy and healthy communities and society.

Color image retrieval using taken images

Now-a-days in many applications content based image retrieval from large resources has become an area of wide interest. In this paper we present a color-based image retrieval system that uses color and texture as visual features to describe the content of an image region. To speed up retrieval and similarity computation, the database images are segmented and the extracted regions are clustered according to their feature vectors. This process is performed offline before query processing, therefore to answer a query our system need not search the entire database images; instead just a number of candidate images are required to be searched for image similarity. Our proposed system has the advantage of increasing the retrieval accuracy and decreasing the retrieval time. The experimental evaluation of the system is based on a 1,000 real taken color image database. From the experimental results, it is evident that our system performs significantly better and faster compared with other existing systems. In our analysis, we provide a comparison between retrieval results based on relevancy for the given ten classes. The results demonstrate that each type of feature is effective for a particular type of images according to its semantic contents, and using a combination of them gives better retrieval results for almost all semantic classes.

Employee Performance
The article tries to explore the role of Work stress and coping strategies of employee performance, This study is an attempt to emphasis that performance of employees is influenced by Work stress and effort expended by them in coping with stress. Private university Employees are not a stress free community. Overall similarity in coping behavior of employees is indicative of a possibility that the bureaucratic structure has an important role to play in deciding the reactions of employees. According to Lazarus & Folk man (1984) coping is a mechanism of handling external and internal demands that are exceeding the resources of the person in order to prevent negative consequences. This research paper is inferential analysis in nature and makes use of primary data as well as secondary data .Regression analysis were used to test the statistical significance of this impact and ANOVA were used to test the hypothesis. The study found that Majority of employees perceived moderate work stress that are inter-related with Employee’s Performance.

NATIONAL PARK CONSERVATION
NATURE CONSERVATION
The Community Based Organizations play an important role in the conservation of protected areas. However, they are still at the early stage in Rwanda and require scientific researches to assess their contribution towards National parks conservation. This study was conducted through four cooperatives (Turate ubuhinzi, Ingenzi Kinigi, ANICO, and Muhisimbi) with the sample size of 72 respondents. The data was collected using questionnaires for four months (from July to October 2011) and analyzed using statistical package for social sciences (SPSS), version 16.0. The study was aimed at assessing the contribution of community based organizations to the conservation of Volcanoes National Park, focusing on SACOLA activities in Nyange and Kinigi Sectors, Musanze District. The results indicated that people in the study area conduct many activities but crop production is conducted at 100%. Concerning the activities of SACOLA, the results show that 81.9% of population have already benefited from employment (buffalo wall construction and maintenance, guides in community tourism, porters, etc.). The output from Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test showed that 55% have decreased their frequencies to go into the park. The same test shows that (11%) respondents have increased their frequencies to enter the park. The study showed also that 33% did not change their attitude towards the use of VNP resources. Referring to the statistical analysis at (p=.000), there is a significance statistical difference between the frequency of going into the park before and after SACOLA activities. There was also an association (P=0.026, Pearson Chi-Square) between satisfaction with SACOLA activities and the probability of going into the park. From these results, the population is that they are beneficiaries of SACOLA at 100% and they are informed about its activities, and 65.3% recognized to be satisfied at a very high level, while 19.4% of respondents mentioned not to be satisfied. Finally, the results show an improvement in conserving Volcanoes National Park since the creation of SACOLA in 2004, and conclude that the contribution of Community Based Organizations is positive and recommend that more effort is needed to maximize the community involvement and also recommend further researches in the same field.EW

Availability of large amount of data in unprocessed form has increased the need of data mining. Various data mining techniques are available for this purpose but we need to choose one which is more accurate. Looking at the increasing interest of people in novel reading, data collected for prediction is based on novels. People were asked to rate different genre novel s. This study has predicted ratings of dystopian novel based on ratings given to other genre novels by readers using various data mining techniques and calculated their prediction accuracy.

Emotional Dynamics of Action and Core Involvement: A new theoretical perspective for designing development strategies in schools
Upadhayaya, Venus
Behavioural science
Communication psychology
Training and Development
Strategic interventions for development
Emotional Dynamics of Action and Core Involvement are theortical perspectives that define an individual's life long scope of learning and progress.
An individual’s life long Emotional Dynamics of Action (EDA) and his/her Core Involvement in what he/she aspires to do, in what he/she takes up, in whatever he/she achieves get immensely impacted in school. EDA and CI are not isolated patterns of emotional construct; they get constantly evolved and devolved, constantly learned and unlearned. An individual's EDA and CI constantly impact those around and also constantly get impacted by those around. Thus school becomes a space that defines the life-long capacity of an individual. Schools greatly make up a society and its behavioural and attitudinal construct.
The aim of this paper is to on a fresh construct define how schools play a pivotal role in determining a child’s consciousness. The psychological patterns determining communication between a child’s internal and external settings and his level of self-awareness get shaped in school. And these psychological patterns define the EDA and CI of the individual. Researcher defines how positive EDA and CI can be cultivated and practised and how schools can become a major strageic point for development.

Practice Change and Bricolage in Nursing
Maniago, Jestoni Dulva
axiology; bricolage; epistemology; ontology; nursing; patient care
This paper aimed to define and describe the concepts of practice change and bricolage in nursing. The ontology, epistemology and axiology of practice change in nursing will be clarified as it relates to the experiences of the nurse and patients. This paper proposes that the most significant changes in a nurse-nursed relationship are the self-initiated incremental changes that result in improved patient care, arising from a need to cope with difficult situations, adjust and make sense of the experiences that they were having. It is also within this context that the case is argued for considering that changes in nursing practice involve bricolage activity. Bricolage is the construction or creation of a work from a diverse range of things that happen to be available, or a work created by such a process (Gobbi, 2005). The idea of using patient's environment and available resources which are at hand is the main goal in the bricolage activity (Reed and Shearer, 2011). This stance, which is derived from the work of Levi-Strauss, conceives elements of nursing practice as an embodied, bricolage practice where nurses draw on the 'shards and fragments' of the situation-at-hand to resolve the needs of the individual patient for whom they care. This conceptualization of practice change in nursing could be analyzed with a particular emphasis on its implication for nursing epistemology, pedagogy and praxis.

Therapeutic Presencing in Nursing

caring; concept analysis; theory development, therapeutic presencing
This paper provides an operational definition of therapeutic presencing as a first step in the systematic analysis of the concept. The Wilsonian method of concept analysis provided the framework for the analysis. The researcher identifies themes explicated from the concept of therapeutic presencing to develop a clear understanding of the concept to nursing. Model cases illustrate the concept further. The result shows that Being, Receiving, Influencing and Participating are the themes most associated with the concept. Moreover, immersion, congruence and empathy were described as the qualities of therapeutic presencing in nursing. Further nursing research needs to test the theoretical relationship between concept of therapeutic presencing and outcome variables.

RFID technique has gathered interest in many areas. But due to high installation cost and comparatively low read range, it has not reached its full potential. In this paper, how ‘conductive’ ink-jet printing technique, as an effective approach for the printing of RFID tags on paper has been studied. Various results characterize paper as a good substrate for the fabrication of sensor modules. Also, the use of implantable RFID tags for bio-monitoring applications is investigated that may open interesting opportunities in telemedicine. Although the technique is exciting enough to be adopted and can revolutionize data fusion but still there are certain unresolved issues that can restrict its use for the development of a ‘ubiquitous’ network for device and body monitoring applications.

Integrating Soft Skills into Courses in Malaysian Public Universities: (Undergraduates’ Perception)

Soft Skills

Educational Policy
Malaysian employers demand a high proficiency in soft skills. They are looking beyond academic results when interviewing new staff, hence undergraduates acquiring soft skills is an important issue from different perspectives: the employers, the education system and the students themselves. Despite this emphasis, potential employees, according to employers; lack soft skills. Considering the importance of this issue, this paper’s objective is to comprehend and highlight the perception of undergraduates of the soft skills programs in five research universities in Malaysia. The information presented in this paper is obtained from a survey conducted by distributing 600 questionnaires to undergraduates in Malaysia’s five research universities to determine their understanding of soft skills and how these skills are taught and evaluated in these universities. The initial findings show that there is a strong awareness of the importance of soft skills among undergraduates but the students are not clear about the methods of teaching and evaluating these skills in different courses in different universities. The results illustrate a need for universities in general to develop strategies to enhance soft skills teaching and learning and make undergraduates aware of how these skills are evaluated. The results also suggest that integrating soft skills into university courses does not follow a standard procedure and each university may value and emphasis a different skill. It appears therefore that if universities collaborate their knowledge and experience, they may be able to offer a more practical and beneficial soft skill-training program for undergraduates.

Simulated Annealing
In this paper, we intend to apply the principles of genetic algorithms along with simulated annealing to cryptanalyze a mono-alphabetic substitution cipher. The type of attack used for cryptanalysis is a ciphertext-only attack in which we don’t know any plaintext. In genetic algorithms and simulated annealing, for ciphertext-only attack, we need to have the solution space or any method to match the decrypted text to the language text. However, the challenge is to implement the project while maintaining computational efficiency and a high degree of security. We carry out three attacks, the first of which uses genetic algorithms alone, the second which uses simulated annealing alone and the third which uses a combination of genetic algorithms and simulated annealing.

No Poverty, Zero hunger, Health & Wellness, Gender Equality, Clean Water, and many others have been kept on priority for development across world. But what plays a critical role in planning, execution, and success of these goals is “Resource Estimation & Planning” and that in turn is dominated by the ‘Human Population Trends’ of different regions on globe. Growing Human Population has been a challenge for all future-plans for sustainable development across globe and their success. The current paper highlights the close correlation between trends of growing human population and sustainable development

This paper focusses on the minority community of the Malaysian Sindhis to show that ethnic and cultural identities can be constructed through means other practices than solely by the heritage languages. The study draws on an open-ended question directed to 79 lady members of the Sindhi community in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The respondents were women aged 50-70 and a friend of a friend helped in obtaining further respondents. This age group was selected as they often met for kitty parties, gambling sessions, and lunch parties. Their one-word responses were recorded and returned to the facilitator helping in data collection. The question was “What do you mean when you say you are a Sindhi?”. Based on the data, we contend that the term ethnicity denotes a subjective sense of community, meaning a shared identity which results in a sense of group solidarity. Identity is rooted in actual cultural practices and experiences.

While technology over the years has changed such as in telecommunication and ways of human communication and transportation, the method and practice of teaching has little to prove of any landmark changes in meeting the emerging needs of the society through present academic structures and service delivery.
Sadly same old fashion of teaching persist in our institutions and the worse of it being our youths and the society in general.
Described as the 'production or adoption, assimilation, and exploitation of a value-added novelty in economic and social spheres; renewal and enlargement of products, services, and markets; development of new methods of production; and establishment of new management systems', innovation is the key driver of the world's economic growth.

Human evolution is the lengthy process of change by which people originated from ape-like ancestors. Scientific evidence shows that the physical and behavioral traits shared by all people originated from ape-like ancestors and evolved over a period of approximately six million years.
Similarly, India’s education story is rich and interesting and has a long legacy and history. In the ancient days education was imparted orally by the sages and the scholars and the information was passed on from one generation to the other. ‘Guru Shishya Parampara’ was the prominent system of education that resulted in life long powerful bondage between the teacher and the taught. Schools were mostly the hermitages and cottages of the rishis and the seers. Soon after, the temples and the community centers became the temples of learning.

1. Not supporting his idea and being negative towards his thoughts.
2. Keep considering the innovator is cloning other’s ideas.

SHORTFALL OF CURRENT GLOBAL EDUCATION SYSTEMS
Amunga, Hellen
Education Research
Innovation
The permeation of information communication technology (ICT) in the educational sector cannot be underestimated. Currently, ICT integration in education is moving away from the traditional use of computers for administrative work and typing assignments to mobile learning, collaborative learning, fast sharing of information and gamification. In ideal educational set-ups at either elementary or tertiary levels, the benefits that come with ICT integration are enormous. On the other hand, the traditional challenges to quality education have never been dealt with in many educational institutions all over the world. The persistent challenge of teacher shortages, capacity and infrastructural inadequacies have ensured some educational institutions the world over churn out students who are illiterate or unable to favorably compete in the global job markets with those whose institutions are better endowed. The argument is that the above challenges can easily be solved by respective countries through public-private-people partnerships so long as there is political good will for the concerned governments. The single most current shortfall to education and the innovation in education is the lack of information ethics. This paper strives to highlight the issues surrounding this challenge as well as some suggestions on how it can be solved.

INNOVATION FACTS TOWARDS LIFE: CHANGING EDUCATION PARADIGM

Innovation
Innovation is the course of translating an idea or invention into a goods or services that creates value for which customers will pay or for which societies can benefited. To be called an innovation, an idea must be replicable at an economical cost and must satisfy a specific need. Innovation involves deliberate application of information, imagination and initiative in deriving greater or different values from resources, and includes all processes by which new ideas are generated and converted into useful products. In business, innovation often results when ideas are applied by the company in course or further meeting the needs and expectations of the customers. Innovation is not a one-man thing it can happen at every stage of an organization. The new intern may have million dollar business idea instead of those employers working for past 10 years. In our society we have great people and associate who are desirous to help us innovate. We need to listen to them and look for what they put forward. Ideas are everywhere. Without realizing their action some people do not Praise new ideas, do not let everybody contribute, not be open minded. This is how we kill innovation by our action. For Global Sustainability, Innovation is a Life blood we need to silhouette, nourish, retain and promote innovative culture in and around. We need to reframe our brain and actions or else it will kill or bring to an end us to upgrade further. This chapter is dedicated to all who like to grow one step further. Energy Efficiency
Pumps consume about 22% of the world’s total energy generated, out of which 16% is consumed by centrifugal pumps and 6% by rotodynamic pumps. According to the American Hydraulics Institute, 30% of the total electrical energy consumed by pumping systems can be conserved either by designing highly efficient systems or by using appropriate pumps. As a result, the primary focus of global energy policy makers is to enhance energy efficiency in pumping systems. This paper aims to highlight the areas that need to be address in order to increase the pumping system efficiency. It is evident from studies that about 30% to 50% of the energy consumed by pumping systems could be saved through piping system components or control changes.

Relevance of Integrity, Morality and Ethics in the Contemporary World: Learnings from Shrimad Bhagavad Gita
Raheja, Shivani
Humanities
Morality
Human Integrity
Business Ethics
Integrity is apparently a matter of choice between what is right and what is easy. It manifests itself in everything one does- thoughts, behaviour and actions. It is more related to one’s everyday behaviour, both covert or overt and decision making. The word integrity is considered to have been originated from the French word ‘integrite or integre’, Latin integritas or integras, English integer or integrate, which conceptually means being intact and indicates wholesomeness and completeness of inner self and most importantly uprightness. Morality has its origin from Latin word ‘Mos’, which means customs. The term Ethics has been derived from the Greek word ‘Ethos’ meaning character. Integrity is more than a concept and certainly far beyond being a mere cliché. Integrity is more than morality and ethics, for these two are acclaimed externally and adhere to societal expectations of one’s conduct. Integrity, on the other hand is intrinsic in nature and is an internal state of being, an enduring personal commitment to honour moral and ethical values for moral reflection. Together, they are like a beacon that sails us through the tough turbulent currents of moral and ethical dilemmas, guiding us through states of internal and external conflicts by illuminating the path of honesty, truth, justice, and compassion.

Communication Norms in NGOs Advocating Reproductive Health: A Comparative Study of Malaysian and Nigerian NGOs

Communication Norms

Nigeria
Reproductive health is an emerging issue in developing countries. The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) reports that every minute, a woman in the developing world dies from treatable complications of either pregnancy or childbirth. Nigeria is a country where the state of reproductive health of its population is dismal. In 2012, UNFPA pointed out that Nigeria has one of the worst maternal mortality statistics in the world with a maternal mortality ratio of 545 per 100,000 live births. Several NGOs around the world deliver services at various levels to advocate the right of mothers to have safe births as well as address the shortage of skilled midwives. In this context, Malaysia has done much to control its infant and maternal mortality rates, through its community reproductive health initiatives. This study then aims to determine the communication norms in two NGOs, one in Malaysian and the other in Nigeria. The analysis was of projects undertaken by two NGOs, the Federation of Reproductive Health Association of Malaysia (FRHAM) and the Association for Reproductive and Family Health (ARFH) of Nigeria. The communication norms and ways of getting the community involved in their projects were examined through progress reports, document review and web searches. Besides being interviewed, questionnaires were filled by the employees of the NGOs. The findings indicate that the Nigerian and Malaysian NGOs have different communication models and they can learn from each other’s best practices.

Linguistic Trends among Young Sindhi Community Members in Karachi

domain, language choices, Karachi, Sindhi, Pakistan
Sindh is a multilingual province with Sindhi as its official language (Abbasi, 2017) and Sindhi is the third most common language spoken in Pakistan. (Census, 2017). However, in the cities of the Sindh province, Urdu the national language, is widely spoken is in constant competition with other regional languages (Ali, 2017). Due to rapid urbanization and modernization, different communities are shifting to cities for better economic conditions. This study explores linguistic trends by investigating the language used by young Sindhi speakers in the city of Karachi and has used Fishman’s domain model (1971). The domain identifies the use of language in different settings between a range of interlocutors and the purpose of communication between interlocutors. The methodology used to collect data was both questionnaire and observation. The results indicates that the use of other languages-Urdu and English is often noted in various domains. Even within the home domain Sindhi speakers are frequently using ‘the other tongue’. This study encourages researchers to study language choices in contact situations in the urban cities of Pakistan.

Today the space of our universe is filled with invisible stuff matter which expanding under the action of gravity which was dark matter. In 1990’s astronomical observation and theoretical calculation was leading astrophysicists to believe that not only the dark matter but also there is vacuum empty space filled in universe that is dark energy. It is suggested that the apparently disparate cosmological phenomenon attributed to so called “dark matter” and dark energy arise from quantum level of space -time itself. This creation of space time results in metric expansion. A recent modification of Einstein’s theory of general relativity by Chadwick, Hodgkinson and McDonald incorporate space time expansion. Recent evidence predicts that apparent amount of dark matter increases with age of universe. In addition proposal leads to the same result for the small but non-vanishing cosmological constant, related to dark energy.

Prospects and Challenges of Dynamic Bilingual Education in the Light of Pakistan’s Language Policy

Bilingual Education
This research investigates challenges and prospects of the dynamic, bilingual education in the light of Pakistan’s language policy. It guides language policymakers to adopt the dynamic, bilingual policy in Pakistan’s education system. However, the researcher revealed that most of the participants willingly favored and practiced the dynamic model of bilingual instruction, but there is no formal policy guide for them. The employment of this education model is valid and feasible in both theory and practice. Besides, readers and policymakers through this research paper would come to know that the dynamic, bilingual education improves students’ socio-cognitive, linguistic performance and functional biliteracy through translanguaging and multimodalities. The issue of monoglossic separation of languages in Pakistan is yet to be solved. Furthermore, the researcher used qualitative, empirical methodology to do analysis and employed open-ended questionnaires to collect data. The researcher used purposive sampling to collect data from sixteen respondents. Additionally, findings show that the subtractive language policy, linguistic politics, the power elite’s monolingualism, parents’ obsession with English, and students’ negative attitudes are challenges to the dynamic, bilingual education. In contrast, Pakistan’s multi-lingual reality along with translingual practices, the use of multimodalities, students’ multi-lingual repertoire, functional biliteracy, and transcultural interaction are some of the prospects of the dynamic, bilingual education policy in Pakistan. Thus, there are both challenges and prospects of the dynamic, bilingual education policy in Pakistan.

This research primarily focuses on a mixed sample of both students and working population. A primary investigation was also conducted to identify different facts which helped in designing of the introduction part along with literature review. Later data analysis was conducted on data collected from 114 samples through online questionnaire involving both structured and unstructured questions. Statistical methods of descriptive analysis, discrimination analysis and cross tabulation (with Cramer V calculation for association test) were used to test the strength of association between prime factors based on gender. The results of this research can be useful for researchers, academicians and others in this field who can learn and benefit to a great extent.
